Guidelines for Project Work of Final Semester Students

(A) Those students who have completed their Project work

(i)	Those students, who have completed their project work and dissertation is prepared and checked by the Supervisor, their viva-voce examination may be schedule through video conferencing using Google Meet, Skype, Microsoft Technologies or any other reliable and mutually convenient technology and recording of final viva voce examination must be kept by the supervisor for future reference and requirement.
(ii)	Supervisors through Head of the department and Dean of the college/school/ Institute shall submit the final report to Controller of Examinations, SHUATS, mentioning the successful completion of the Viva-voce examination with all the relevant documents.
(iii)	Controller of Examinations with the support of all relevant documents will issue the final semester Mark sheet and Transcript.

(B) For those students who have started their Project work but not completed

(i)	Those students, who have started their project work before lock down but not completed yet, may complete their project with Theoretical Problem/ Simulation/ Modelling or Data Analysis. They can continue their remaining work from home in consultation with their supervisor through email, Zoom, Google Meet, Skype, Microsoft Technologies or any other reliable and mutually convenient technology.
(ii)	Those students, who were conducting experiments in their respective Labs or on field trials before the lock down and have completed all the experiments/trials, can do their analysis and writing work from home in consultation of their supervisors through email, Zoom, Google meet, Skype, Microsoft Technologies or any other reliable and mutually convenient technology.
(iii)	Once the work of the student is completed, dissertation is prepared and checked by the Supervisor, and then on the recommendation of Supervisor, viva voce examination may be done as described above in Clause [A].

(C) For those students who have not started their Project work yet

(i)	Those students, who have not started their project work yet by any reason, are required to meet their Supervisor/HOD in person or contact through email/telephonically.
(ii)	Supervisors are required to allot/assign the project work to such students with Theoretical Problem/Simulation/Modelling or Data Analysis in consultation of respective HOD/Deans. Students can continue their work from home in consultation with their supervisor through email, Zoom, Google Meet, Skype, Microsoft Technologies or any other reliable and mutually convenient technology.
(iii)	Once the work of the student is completed, dissertation is prepared and checked by the Supervisor, and then on the recommendation of Supervisor, viva voce examination may be done as described above in Clause [A].

NOTE: Deans/HoDs are requested to send the report with relevant documents to the office of Controller of Examinations as and when viva voce examination is completed.
